Agreement

VeloCoach AI is operated by VeloCoach AI Ltd, a company registered in England & Wales ("VeloCoach", "we", "us"). By downloading, accessing, or using the VeloCoach AI app or website, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

These terms incorporate the End User Licence Agreement (EULA) set out below. Where you obtain the app through the Apple App Store, Apple's standard Licensed Application End User Licence Agreement also applies as a supplementary minimum baseline; where these terms are more protective of you, these terms prevail.

Licence to use the app

Subject to these terms, we grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to download and use VeloCoach AI on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, solely for your own personal, non-commercial use.

• You may not resell, sublicense, rent, lease, or otherwise commercialise access to the app.
• You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, decompile, or create derivative works from the app, except to the extent this restriction is prohibited by law.
• You may not use the app in any unlawful way or in breach of these terms.

Subscriptions & billing

VeloCoach AI is offered on an auto-renewing subscription basis, billed through your Apple App Store account.

• Subscriptions are available on a monthly or annual basis. Current pricing is shown in the app before you purchase.
• We may offer a free trial. If a trial is offered, your subscription begins and is charged automatically at the end of the trial unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends.
• Your subscription auto-renews at the then-current price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in iOS Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Payments are processed by Apple. Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with their standard policy; except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.

Acceptable use

• VeloCoach is for personal, non-commercial use only.
• You must be 16 or older to create an account and use the service.
• You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
• You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to, scrape, overload, or abuse our systems or API.
• You must not upload content that is unlawful, infringing, or that you do not have the right to share.

Training & medical disclaimer

Always consult a qualified medical professional before starting, changing, or intensifying any training programme, particularly if you have any underlying health condition, are pregnant, or are returning from injury or illness. You are responsible for exercising within your own limits. Stop and seek medical attention if you experience pain, dizziness, chest discomfort, or any other concerning symptoms during or after exercise. You use the coaching guidance at your own risk.

Intellectual property

The app, website, branding, design, text, and all related intellectual property are owned by VeloCoach AI Ltd or its licensors and are protected by law. These terms do not transfer any ownership to you.

You retain ownership of the training data and content you provide. By using the service you grant us a limited licence to process that data solely to provide and improve the service, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Limitation of liability

The app is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude all implied warranties and do not guarantee that the coaching advice will improve your performance or that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, VeloCoach AI Ltd will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded under English law. Where our liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us for the subscription in the 12 months before the claim arose.

Termination

You may stop using the app and delete your account at any time via Profile → Account → Delete Account. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms or use the service in a way that risks harm to us or other users. On termination, the licence granted to you ends and you must stop using the app.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top always reflects the most recent version. Where changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify you. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales, and the courts of England & Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, except that if you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the UK, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts where required by law.
